FAQ Festival has been presenting electronic music in 's-Hertogenbosch since 2010. Over the years the festival has grown from a small gathering of enthusiasts into a multi-venue event drawing artists and audiences from across the globe. Each edition explores a different facet of electronic sound, from pioneering tape music and early synthesis to contemporary live coding and modular performance.
Below is an overview of all previous FAQ Festival editions. The festival originally took place in March each year, before moving to November in 2021 as part of its collaboration with November Music.

Over the course of its history, FAQ Festival has featured an impressive roster of electronic music pioneers and contemporary innovators. Past line-ups have included artists working across electro-acoustic composition, drone, noise, techno, ambient, and experimental club music. The festival has a particular strength in presenting immersive performances and multi-channel sound installations that take full advantage of the unique acoustics offered by its various venues.
The 2021 edition marked a turning point when FAQ Festival merged with November Music, an internationally renowned festival for contemporary composed music. This collaboration expanded the festival's reach and allowed it to present electronic music within a broader context of adventurous contemporary performance.
